Watching the first two series. As with all great comedy, it is patchy but when it's good, my goodness...he seems VERY far ahead of his time at times. Slating those who'd gentrified Stoke Newington for having Suziki convertible jeeps for going to Sainsbury's, in 1989, puts every anti-4x4 UKC thread to shame

In reply to Blue Straggler: I used to have "The Fish People Tapes" which was an recording that he made but I somehow lost it and can't get a replacement anywhere. He was so funny. His early comedy books were good too.
