Im looking for a place on a first aid course in the next few weeks, then a SPA assessment. Any ideas of a good provider, or groups with spaces that need filling? Im based in liverpool but im able to drive. many thanks.

Duno about where you'd find a first aid course but North Wales for the assessment if you dont mind driving. Did mine with Andy Newton, who's sound as a pound. Phil George is a good bet as well.
Good luck

In reply to smallerrich: Try HIGH PEAK FIRST AID TRAINING, I'm on a weekday course with them in a couple of weeks used them in the past found them to be good and well priced.

In reply to bongo: +1 for High Peak, Nicola Pickering who runs the courses is really good, it was mostly based outside which I found refreshing, 5 of the guys from my outdoor centre have done the same course and agree!

You could try Underwood Training based in Leeds. Helen is a Climber and Canoeist and does lots of outdoor/remote FA training courses.

"The Woodhead Course" run by Blackhill Training as a fundraiser for Woodhead MRT and SARDA will be back at the end of October. Watch out for a Premier Post on Monday
