Wow. Is this the fastest tick of a 9a?
In reply to catt: Possibly?

In reply to GrahamD: ok so climb on plastic but yearn to climb on rock and you can get strong.....

I don't know how you'd define Patxi's "main interest", but he makes a lot of sacrifices in his life to be in shape for the competitions, and indoor training always takes priority over going climbing outdoors.

No doubting either of their dedication to both indoor and outdoor. More a tongue in cheek response to:

"who was also there desintoxicating from the plastic"

Which kind of implies to me that the rock is where he thought it was really at.

In reply to Nic:

exactly that, actually.

When I met him last Easter, he was really keen to come over to Britain to try some stuff, but it became apparent that he couldn't fit a visit when conditions would be good into his training schedule, so...

presumably he believed everyone who said it has to be cold - he ought to have a word with Mr Nakajima

In reply to highaltitudebarista: I thought it was pronounced "Patz-eh".
