METOLIUS PHOTO COMP: £800 Prizes..Last Day

The best bouldering weather is just round the corner (we hope!): cool and crisp days when your fingers and shoes stick to the rock. It's time to grab your bouldering mat, a few mates and head out for a spot of pebble wrestling.


To herald this autumn's bouldering season METOLIUS and their UK Distributor, Beyond Hope are running a bouldering photographic competition. All you have to do is upload up to three of your best bouldering photographs (they have to be new to UKClimbing.com) and you could win a stack of bouldering gear including METOLIUS bouldering mats/pads.

All my good bouldering shots are already uploaded for the UKC community to enjoy, really wish i hadn't uploaded them already becasue i'd like to have entered them .

Presumeably this is a very similair situtation to a lot of people. Think you'd have a lot better overall quality of shots entered if you could enter any photo, seen or unseen on UKC.

Just my take on it anyway, i'll go and see if i have any gems hidden that i've never uploaded.

Hi averysmallman,

Yes we appreciate your situation there, but if you have great bouldering shots already uploaded to UKC they will have been seen many times.

We really are after new photographs, either ones you already have but haven't been uploaded OR ones that you have gone out and taken specifically for this competition. I did announce this comp a couple of weeks before it started.

The weather is good, and even if it isn't, its always a good time to get out and get some new shots and fun too.

Not sure when they will pick the photos.

"Voting will continue until September 30 when the winners will be judged by a combination user votes and by Rick Legge and Mike Lloyd of Beyond Hope. We will announce the winners at the end of the week"

I make that Friday 2nd October. ???
