hey,
looking at something big to do next summer, looked at the trollveggen, norway area but finding it hard to get information on stuff other than troll wall itself which has loads of rock fall so not that keen on that. any one got any ideas of where i can find info / guide book / topos for stuff in that region of norway.
thanks
Ol

In reply to Ollie B:

Tony Howard wrote a guidebook to Romsdal area, plenty of good looking mountain routes to do there if it ever stops bloody raining... and lots of kayaking, canoeing, rafting if it doesn't!
In reply to Ollie B:

The Romsdalshorn, the East Ridge of Bispen, and the NW Ridge of Vengetind are all very solid. And there are loads of others that I haven't done. All in the Howard guidebook.

Last time I was in Romsdal you could buy the guide (Klatre i Romsdal or summat similar) there. Includes peaks, sport and trad.

Lots of useful information at http://www.scandinavianmountains.com/
though it's mainly scrambling/mountaineering routes rather than rock climbing.

In reply to Ollie B: Check out this guidebook: http://www.romsdala.com/guidebook.html They have some old copies for sale. Hoping to work in Romsdalen next summer, there's so much climbing to be done in the area!
