Afternoon,

Myself and my partner are heading up to Fort William for 27 to 31 Dec. We're hoping to do some of the easy winter routes. Can anyone recommend a good instructor who could coach us for a couple of days through the basics?

We've both done a lot of hiking and trad climbing (lead up to VS). In addition I've done a couple of one day ice climbing courses when I lived in Switzerland and Hannah went on one of the Conville courses in the Alps this summer. In January we were climbing on Cerro Plata in Argentina with a guide (but sadly didn't summit because of the weather). I've got a fortnight of leave in July so we're aiming to use this Scotland trip to set us up for some easy Alpine routes, all being well.

Thanks a lot for any advice,
Kieran
