COMP WINNERS: BMC Roaches Guidebook Competition

[BMC New Definitive Roaches Guide #1, 4 kb]

There was a good response to the BMC Roaches Guide mini-competition we ran last week. Starting on Wednesday, we asked 5 questions and got 43 entries. The five winners were:

Questions:
1) Name the route on the front cover of the new Roaches guidebook.
ANSWER - The Sloth

2) Who is the BMC Local Acess Rep for Staffordshire Gritstone?
ANSWER - Andi Turner

3) In memory of which famous climber is the hut under the Roaches Lower Tier named?
ANSWER - Don Whillans

4) Which marsupial are you unlikely to see at the Roaches, but which might be watching you climb?
ANSWER - Wallaby

5) Which top climber and author of numerous Staffordshire Gritstone testpieces was known as the Buxton Stick Man, when he burst onto the climbing scene in the 1980s?

Bit easy that one Alan, even I got all the answers right. But, you have to be in it to win it, and the winners will get more use out of them than I would.

In The People's Hospital Number 12 in Guangzhou, China, the top floor is labelled the Anditorium. Could be for a different Andi though.
