HI all,

I'm in need of a decent rucsac am could do with a few pointers and recommendations of things I should be looking for. It's mainly going to be used for multi-day walking (with some climbing and scrambling too) and general travelling so needs to be fairly big but not gigantic or super high tech.
I'm mainly looking at Berghaus as I can get a nice hefty discount on their stuff. Quite like the look of the bio-flex ones but would still appreciate any comments etc.

Thanks

Depending on what you want to carry (tent etc.) you might be looking at up to 65l. The main thing you need to look for is fit, ideally without needing a million and one straps to adjust it. Take time to try a few on with plenty of weight in them.

In reply to kilgore1080: i got the berghaus arete 45L. seems to do the trick for me with hillwalking and rock climbing. Nothing to fancy with it but i find it comfortable enough fully loaded and theres plenty of space for everything. At £50 spanking new you cant go to far wrong
