Hi all just wanted peoples views on the following jackets..

Marmot Alpinist Jacket around £200
Mountain Hardwear Pinnacle Jacket £120-£160

The Marmot RRP is £379.99 compared to £229.99 of the MH.

From what I can tell the MH is discontinued which probably explains the price drop. Conduit waterproof breathable fabric, stretch fabric, Weight: 1lb.6oz

The Marmot is apparently the 'Flagship Gore-Tex® Pro Shell line' 1lbs 6oz so same weight, ERG Hood..

Anyone got any experience with either of these jackets?
