Does the Rab VR Trail Smock hood fit over a helmet comfortably?

Mine certainly comes no where near it but fits nicely under one.

Agreed, the hood isn't big enough for a helmet but it will sit under one happily and keep you well protected in the process!

Agreed, mine sits under a helmet fine. I think it is designed that way as it ins't actually very big .. or maybe I have a big head ....

In reply to katietoday: Definately underneath, wear mine with a balaclava aswell and it's very warm and comfy. Can't recommend it enough - make sure it fits though can be quite small in the arm.

In reply to katietoday: It fits just about over a helmet, but the problem is you do not have a piece to come up to cover your face so you can not get out of the weather. I used it winter climbing but found not being able to hide from the wind a pain.
