[Colin Haley, Patagonia solo., 3 kb]Last December in Patagonia, Colin Haley decided to spend his time waiting for a weather window constructively by doing a bit of soloing. For this video he wore a head cam while soloing the Amy Route on the Aguja Guillaumet near Fitzroy in Patagonia.

In reply to UKC News: It does seem disjointed...very good though...notice how he moves the leash attachments from the shafts to the axe head c1:15? when he moves to daggering?

In reply to Monk: Looks like he's rigging pull through anchors and then tying into bights of the rope, pretty sure you rap the route so he'll pick his gear up on the way down.

great video

looks like he trails the rope till the crux section and pull it up several times to reduce rope drag. Than rigs an anchor and belays passed the crux section, free solo to summit, free solo descend till top of crux, rappel and than video finishes
