In reply to UKC News:
Good point about Glen Coe. We've been having far fewer climbers in than of late, although more is being done than is apparent on UKC. Aonach Eagach has been a regular target since the big snowfall, as has Sron na Lairig; Dorsal Arete has also been done a few times and even Twisting Gully by all accounts. I spoke to a chap the day before the giant avalanche who had climbed No.6 Gully on Aonach Dubh and reported it in perfect condition, but I wouldn't want to go anywhere near that face now with slab still left to slide!

Been raining all day up to quite high levels though, which should be improving things.

In reply to UKC News: Funny about the walking pole on Taxus, it was there three weeks ago. Wonder how long it will last?
