In reply to sarah79:
I had a hip Arthroscope just over 5 weeks ago to repair torn cartilage and a bit of reshaping of my bones! Apparantly its a bit more serious than a shoulder or knee one and I'm almost back to normal already. For about 2 days after it was painful but I didn't need any painkillers, just rest.

You don't need to worry about it, it'll be fine. Just be prepared to take it easy for a while afterwards.

In reply to sarah79: In reply to sarah79: Nowt to worry about...least wise the procedure its self....just a small nick, Had one in my shoulder, the bone crunching (large bone graft inserted into my shoulder joint)that went on after that did smart a little. The surgeon was kind enough to give me a copy of the internal footage on video...great for sunday afternoons were there's nothing on the telly.
