[Steph Davis on the Castleton tower, 2 kb]

In this short video Steph Davis solos the famous Castleton Tower, Utah and then base jumps off.

Davis, who free climbed El Cap in a day back in 2003 and went on to free the Salathe Wall on El Cap in 2005 (the first woman to do so) has made some very daring solo ascents including the very long face of The Diamond on Long's Peak, Colorado.

In reply to UKC News: Good short film, but hard to tell what the route's like. One of the problems with soloing is how to get back down. Lucky for Steph someone left the base jumping kit lying around on the top.

A nice little video, which is airing in the sidebar of various e-commerce sites over here at the moment, although I can't see what it has to do with Prana, Shirley Stephs's wearing Patagonia and Fock U (wingsuit) throughout. The 'Back in the Saddle' video on her blog at the moment is a much better video IMHO, check it out.
