First read post below.... then again, endurance, to be able to keep going without getting pumped, is an acquired ability much in the same way as power, so why should power have any kind exclusive superiority when it comes to difficulty or grades?I guess, we simply have to accept there are different...

Fully agreed- in addtion I also think, that endurance climbers should grade their routes a little bit more conservative...I mean, Sharma spent weeks on Jumbo Love...and suggested a grade I have no problem believing with respect to the ammount of time invested. If however 9a+ gets put up via 5 or say 9 attempts I have doubts believing.
If I was able to climb 9a I would be happy to say that I had bagged the first ascent of a really hard 9a? I guess the wish for superlatives is just nowadays mentality...
