Had the great pleasure of seeing this at The Old Vic last night.
However, the ending provoked much pub discussion. Has anyone read/studied it and have any insights as to what the phone call was about, and how it actually ends?
(I've no idea how literal an adaptation it actually was)
Also, if anyone can clarify a great quote which was something like
'you're scaring me, you're making stupidity sound coherent'
