[Mad Rock Flash. (c) Mad Rock, 2 kb]Rock shoes can be an expensive part of a climber's wardrobe, especially for those who wear them out quickly or like to have several pairs for different uses. At £65 the Mad Rock Flash are reasonably priced, but are they any good? Dan Wicks investigates.

In reply to UKC Gear: Ta muchley I found this review very interesting.
I used to use and love both the mad rock Flash and old white Mugens but at some point the fit on the flash was changed to accommodate wider foot (or maybe this was just a peculiarity with the one batch) and the Mugens just went mad(??). I did really like them so hearing that the fit is now on the slim side is good news as one of my local shops sell these at £55.
