Hello All,

Just been out enjoying the view of the valley (Todmorden) and on the other side saw what appeared to be a crag just off Kebs Road, on closer inspection using street view on google maps it looks worthy of a look.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&...

Does anyone know anything about it? It doesn't seem to be on the UKC database, just wondering if it has been climbed much and if there are any recorded routes? It seems to be just behind some houses so is there an access issue?

If nobody knows anything will just have to go have a closer look this week!

In reply to wilfrid_sargeant: Can't remember the name, there was always an old toilet perched on one of the outcrops.
Think there are access issues. Landowner bit of a psycho etc.

In reply to wilfrid_sargeant: Just out of interestdoes anybody have an idea of how high the crag is? Also are there any recorded routes anywhere?

Cheers
In reply to wilfrid_sargeant:

Some of it is pretty high, maybe 10m.
Some info on YG, link in the other thread. Not much online really.

In reply to wilfrid_sargeant: Hugencroft climbed on extensively in the sixties and seventies by the likes of Don Whillans et al . Banned by the landowner till right of way laws made some access possible 3 or so years ago ? Almost all remaining lines done at this time . Reaches 10 metres or so and lends itself to routes more than bouldering . Although you are allowed to climb here the landowners are clearly less than comfortable with the situation . Most locals appear to have given up on the place and its probably best left alone .
