Anyone recommend a good way of offering my users remote desktop support? Need to be able to transfer files and clipboard.

I'm aware of LogMeIn Rescue but that costs an arm and leg - any other recommendations out there?

VNC? http://www.realvnc.com/

We use it Dameware at work and it's ok if a bit pricey. http://www.dameware.com/products/dmrc/

We used VNC in my last place of work and that seemed to work well. Here, we use one of the in-built Windows clients (NetMeeting I think). It seems to work fine, but I guess it's only any good if your users are all using Windows.

Please note, I have only been on the user end of these systems, not on the support end!

Does Netmeeting enable clipboard sharing, I used it ages ago but can't remember.

In reply to Rob Exile Ward: Teamviewer is pretty good. Free non-commercial license too.

I don't know, I'm not sure I've ever needed to use that sort of function.
