This was a quality event. And the standard is beyond impressive. Kids totally cruising 8a/+/b onsight...

And well done to the British Team. It would be great to see UKC and everyone else get much more behind them.

The standard and the quality of the climbing was an inspiration, although we are not yet one of top teams in the world, we really did set the standard for being professional, sportsman like and generally all round good people! Our team do a really good job of doing us proud for a country where comp climbing still gets loads of grief (what have they ever done outside type comments - generally really hard stuff, very fast BTW i.e Luke Tilley gets Powerplant 2nd go, onsighted Biological Need)) and very little funding.

Big UP the GB Juniors!

In reply to UKC News: I would just like to add that Catherine Whiteman made the semi-finals and also made 27th place, a great result for her and worthy of a mention in the editorial.
