However, being a bit of an obsessive the next best thing was walking; preferably near crags and even better potential new ones.

It has some dubious rock at the top.

In reply to Dave Musgrove Jnr: Opinions vary on the grades and im sure a concencus will be reached when they get some traffic . Main thing is people seem to agree on their quality !
