> GII was first climbed by an Austrian expedition; Fritz Moravec, Josef Larch and Hans Willenpart reached the summit on July 8th 1956, but it s one of the least climbed 8000m peaks, having seen less than 10 expeditions reach the top.

Hi there,

I see you've taken your info from Wikipedia, but as far as I know, GII has received more successful summer ascents than any other 8000m peak bar Everest and Cho Oyu?

Aside from that, all the best to the expedition. I had the pleasure of meeting Simone Moro a few years ago and he came across as a thoroughly nice guy, and not one afraid to suffer!
