Right, I'm in need of some sort of program to manage off-site backups.

I have a laptop with an internal HD, and an external HD with additional files.
For on-site backups I already have an 3.5" HD, which is backed-up regularly using time machine (I'm on a Mac).

However, I also want to do some proper off-site backups. The easiest solution I'd imagine was that I would put a HD at a friend's (or work) place, and let some program organise the backup via the interwebz.

Is there software that can do this?

In reply to Arjen:
"carbonate" is worth a look. Especially good for laptops....unlimited storage as long as it's on the external hard drive.
