The simple campus board, a steep wooden board with horizontal rungs, has long been thought of as a fast track to climbing hard, but the training is so intense that it can easily result in injury.
The BMC have now issued some simple guidelines to help with injury prevention, and make several recommendations aimed at younger climbers.
