Is it worth taking a bike? How bikeable is it please?

Thanks in advance.

Lynsey.
In reply to Lynsety: Not worth the effort! Just walk over...

In reply to Lynsety:

I wouldn't think it's worth the effort cycling up Strath Nethy. You "could" cycle the Lairig an Laoigh to the Fords but the easiest way in for a bike will be the long track in from Tomintoul following the river Avon up to the loch. Tomintoul is a long way from Glenmore.

If it was me I'd cycle up to the Cas carpark and walk over the plateau.

it's only a 1.5 hr walk tops from the cas car park anyways

In reply to Lynsety: did this about 25 years ago, via north shoulder of Bynack More, past Lochan a' Bhainne to the fords. If you enjoy carrying your bike, then this is the route for you.

In reply to Curlystevo: Yeah think we're a bit bored of that route, although by a lot of opinions I think we might be going that way now!
