In reply to UKC News: It just goes to show the guys a ledgend, not only climbing hard but dealing with the vocal distractions of the Camera Doris half way through the route.
 Neil Morrison 13 Jun 2011
In reply to UKC News: Maybe the 3rd ascent as I believe Jules Lines has also repeated it

Nice one, nice action shame about the f*cking music blasting away. Why does it need to have such distracting music? (a good track i have to admit though).
It would be so much absorbing to watch with no music at all.

I clicked on another window and just left the music playing without watching the video. Needs more drums and more bass tho.

Where the hell is this Glenfinnan crag??

Great to see one of MacLeod's routes being repeated - doesn't happen too often!

I think it has only seen one repeat to date - an Aussie if I remember correctly?

Excellent, palm sweating stuff, the unpretentious amateurishness of the video only adding to the armchair grip!

It appears to be north of the A830, about a mile east of Lochailort station.

In reply to Mark Bull:

Aye, I kinda got the vague location. Are there established routes in a guide? Highland Outcrops has little to say on the matter...

yes, on xmas day.

In reply to Fiend: I get the impression from Dave's blog it's a recent development given his first mention of it is to call it Donald's slab.

Not mentioned in Highland Outcrops, and nothing in the SMCJ between 2003 and 2010. Andy N might know something...
