Following on from other recent 8c ascents, Alan Cassidy bumps it up a grade with a redpoint of Metalcore (8c+) at the Anvil in Scotland.

"I'm really excited to have my name up there with Malc & Dave in the only Scots to climb the grade..."

In reply to UKC News: Nice work, used to live near the Anvil and had the pleasure of bumping into Alan at Dumby crushing a few problems before he fell off the top of one of the boulders and nearly killed himself. Top bloke!

In reply to Cassidy: It was sometime last year and me and a mate were trying Mugsy, I think you were trying Glasgow Kiss, you got Nathan to film it on your phone and after you did it you slipped as you were coming off the top of the boulder.
