Has anybody had any use of these ropes outside on a centre tower. Not sure on purchaseing due to it being purely a indoor rope any info would be great

Are you going to be using it for top roping on an outdoor tower??

Is the tower mobile?

Will the ropes say insitu or removed when not in use (i.e. out of the sun when not in use)?

Hi there the tower is permenant and each evening the ropes will be removed and coiled and stored out of sunlight how ever they will be exposed to 7 hours of sunlight/ british weather conditions a day during the summer period.

I would say personal that the mammut gym rope will be fine for your needs then.

Not sure how much degradation due to UV light your going to get over one summer (maybe contact mammut), but it a nice work horse of a rope.
