I'm a little peturbed by the recent weather forecast as predicted by UKC, I believe if I go climbing in the peak tomorrow I will most likely die as the forecast advises that is it -273 degrees (apparently it's still dry sunny, but I feel that is no consolation)

Hmmmm.... one wonders what the friction will be like at those temps!

In reply to staceyjg: better put a second layer on tomorrow then

In reply to John Lewis:

I think you'll find that it's at least 4 layers if it's under 20 degrees, I don't think I possess enough layers for -273 degrees!

In reply to staceyjg:

56 layers. I think that last few layers would have to belong to a really really fat person. Hmmm, now who do we know that's that fat?

Whereabouts are you lot heading to???

Has Hell literally frozen over?

(For the literary minded, I am aware that in Dante's Divine Comedy, he described at least some of hell as frozen!)

We started a canicule today which will last until we head back to the UK on Thursday. The bad news is that it is too hot upstairs to be able to go to sleep, so I'm drinking heavily and talking bollocks on here for longer than usual.
