Accident Curbar (10/9/2011)
There was accident at curbar yesterday involing 1 climber who fell off L'Horla just below the roof. His gear ripped and he decked out from around 5/6 metres. MRT were called to the crag and eventually he got put in the air ambulance and taken to hospital.
At hospital he was looked over and he's damaged his spine (small fracture) but other than and some nasty grit rash, he's a picture of health.
Many thanks to all the people who where involved in the rescue. Thanks to MRT who turned up promptly and took care of him, but also to all the other climbers and walkers (especially James and his climbing partner) who pitched in the help with keeping him warm and carrying him to the helicopter.
