Ecrins Ice: accommodation recommendations please

Hey guys,

Time for a UKC collective knowledge hunt.

Does anyone have any recommendations for accomodation in Vallouise for some Ecrins ice without breaking the bank?

In reply to sneaks: Ditto again, but if the bank is tight, then there is a gite in Argentiere la bessee which could be cheaper, not stayed there always used Jerry

I contacted Jerry and a few others, It looks good but as there are only two of us I was looking for something a bit cheaper and not aimed at up to 4/6 people etc.

Unless I can persuade some friends to come and split the costs! hah.

I used this place. It worked out cheap between 3 of us. Was very well situated for ice in the area. Had a sauna as well. would highly recommend it.
