Don't forget an 'Andy Kirkpatrick' is for life and not just for Christmas...

Yes, but if you took him out for walkies, the next thing you know, you'd be shivering on a portaledge halfway up the Troll Wall. I'd personally go for a less energetic breed. Or a gerbil.
