I had this pic printed at Ratho in Mountain Days category.

Any idea what won? Maybe somebody on here? Know it wasn't me but there's nothing on EMFF website and no reply to an email I sent.

In reply to Colin Henderson:

No idea. Wonderful photographs. I enjoyed browsing your portfolio. You've a great knack for capturing things simply and beautifully.
In reply;

Thank you, that's very kind.

In reply to Colin Henderson:

Remember there is a photo comp at Kendal Fest to - http://www.mountainfest.co.uk/photocompetition.cfm

Amazed that few UKcers esp those with a photo of the week haven't bothered entering yet.

In reply to Henry Iddon:

'Amazed'?

In reply to murdster:

Well I'd have thought if you'd had a photo of the week you may think it worth entering into comps.

Evidently folk aren't fussed.
In reply to Henry Iddon:

Henry, thanks.

I wasn't aware of Kendal competition. Will go and check out.

In reply to Colin Henderson: Nice pic. I was at the EMFF last Sunday - the photo of Glenshee with the "Way Home" sign won the Mountain Days category, and a black and white one from the Bold Move category was the overall winner. I found it a bit of a strange choice because it was really hard to make out the climber in the photo - though not as strange as the choice for the best film, which was about fishing!
In reply to cat22:

Hi there, thanks, appreciated.

Was that the Kamchatka film? I'd love to go there. Not for the fishing.
