N Lakes winter conditions?

Going to the Lakes this weekend and fear we may have missed the boat as far as anything in good winter condition goes! Anyone been up to Great End or Brown Cove Crag in the last coule of days?

Great end was good on tuesday, and it's due a good freeze over the weekend. It just depends if anything has survived in the mean time.....

Could better in the south over towards Wetherlam and the Old Man, better covering that way even with the lower altitude.

hiya glen. thinking ahead (next year) do you know, is nethermost gully the left or right of the y gully on the lhs of the edge?
