Lots of gear-head threads at the moment. Let's see some images.

So what is getting your mojo going photographically at the moment? Your own stuff or other peoples is good.

I have lost my own mojo recently (apparently coinciding with spending a bloody fortune on an upgrade to my gear ) so need some outside inspiration!

In reply to taine: I know what you mean , sometimes the inspiration just isn't there but it always comes back , a change of scenery often helps to look at things with fresh eyes . here's a few of my favourite images from the last few weeks

Very nice thanks for sharing. I love that first one especially!

Maybe I could get more mojo if I was in the mountains! Hmm where's my holiday card...

I've got a couple of developed films waiting for some darkroom treatment at the moment - they're full of zoo animals - but I'm mostly busy pondering about a new project that's something of a departure for me.

Again, not particularly linked to what I do, but this chap's work is great: http://jamortram.posterous.com/

In reply to taine:

This lot include tigers and many monkeys (and a couple of rhinos) (oh, and some giraffes). South Lakes Wild Animal Park is very good for getting pretty close to the animals.

What Goes Up 23 Mar 2012
In reply to Nadir khan: Very nice indeed - some cracking shots there and as above that first one's sweet.

Taine - one of the things that's worked for me when I'm in a bit of a rut is to force myself into a particular box so that you have to do something different and get creative. Try using a lens you haven't used for a while and only that (my nifty fifty's good for this one as it rarely makes it onto the body but takes great shots when I do - thanks for reminding me of this!), perhaps aim only to shoot in b/w and really look for the contrasts and patterns, or go to a location you wouldn't nomrally go to (if you like mountain scenery, experiment with gritty urban...) - it's suprising how it can help to bring the fun back into it when it forces you to think differently.
