I know it's not self catering, but this place is simple, clean, cheap, but an absolute gem of a find. I stayed here several years ago on an extreme sports holiday through Exodus and it was perfectly positioned for caving, climbing, canyoning, etc. The English owner Jim and his Spanish wife have all the local knowledge you could need. What a wonderful place to visit,...I'd go back to the Picos in a flash! Have fun!

is in the small village of Tudes about 5 mins drive from Potes - we've stayed there a few times and never been disappointed - Toni and his wife are both friendly, helpful and speak English.
