I believe this is my first post in approx 9 years.

I started off this addiction in Northern Ireland many years ago with forum members long gone. Both myself and my better half Milly are past climbers and climb for fun. I now live in the south of England miles from any climbing, but in 3 months time we move to Harrogate! result!

Back in 2009 i damaged my shoulder badly and after years of rehab and surgery i am now at the point where i am ready to start climbing.
I am planning on just enjoying it rather than push grades, i understand that technique is now of utmost importance especially using my feet and legs.

Any advice from someone who has been in a similar situation?

Cheers Paddy

In reply to randomgary: no but, you might want to think about some coaching on techniques to help you climb better and lessen the chance of a recurring injury, if nothing its a free bump!
