A friend and I are heading up to Yorkshire on Sunday for a couple of days climbing in the area (Brimham rocks etc) and then heading up to Northumberland for a couple of days too.
Can anyone recommend a good and budget bunkhouse or campsite in the area??
Everywhere I've looked so far is booked, only takes sole bookings for a huge venue, doesn't take large tents, doesn't cater for people arriving late from London or has some other excuse for not taking our booking.
If anyone can recommend a good place to stay near Alnwick (Northumberland) too that would be brilliant!
Failing that, can we just wild camp / sleep in the car somewhere?? (Which I am very tempted to do given the apparent lack of decent options).
