Good taste in comedy!
Have a look at trailer park boys, or the drunk and on drugs happy hour.
Also, gimme a shout if you fancy getting out on the hills sometime- we're pretty close together!?

In reply to Fly Fifer: The BBC only released Monkey Dust series one on DVD due to how controversial it started to become. Most of it is available on You Tube though.

In reply to Fly Fifer: Are you looking for TV series only?

If not

Ichi the killer has to be the darkest of dark comedies ever. Hysterical and uber violent. Anything by Takashi Miike has some comedy moments though.
Black sheep is funny, not full on rip roaring, but good.

In reply to Fly Fifer: Well, this may be too leftfield, but, dead undead, purely because it may be the worst film ever made, and it has luke or matt goss in it. I can't remember which. Its comedy gold.

The boondock saints pt 1 and 2, just for Billy Conollys Irish accent.
Dead snow
The Blood Rayne trilogy.

They are not the A-typical comedies, I understand that, but they amuse me.

The Ricky Gervais show is definately worth a watch, as is An Idiot abroad.

Book wise, try the "merde" series by Stephen Clarke
Also "The gates of hell" by John Conolly, quite funny for a kids book

I'm sure I'll think of more

In reply to tspoon1981:

I find Gervais funny but only for a short while....a bit like a puppy..fun but tell it to f off after 5 mins!

An idiot abroad is probably worth a revisit...good shout...only seen a few but enjoyed pilkintons non pc take on life.....very early therox-esk

certainly follow up the others.

keep it coming.

cheers

In reply to Fly Fifer: Chris morris stuff has been mentioned. Try Nighty Night from the same pedigree or Nathan Barley which has Morris stamp + some of the Boosh Crew. Definitely don't miss Nighty Night though.
