Earlier this year, I walked past what appeared to be a car park on the Cumbria Way, north of Skiddaw house & near a disused quarry. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is a proper car park or not, and any access issues to it?
Apologies for a lack of grid ref, my OL5 got a little soggy & needs replacing later tonight, and the site is just off OL4's eastern side. It's at the fork in the center of the map here https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=54.684674,-3.037376&spn=0.016969,0.0454...

In reply to TryfAndy: it's a surfaced public road up to that point. I've often seen cars parked there and I don't think there is an access problem http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/835814

In reply to TryfAndy:

I walked past there last week, there were people in cars who it appeared had just driven up to eat sandwiches etc.
If I recall, there are several patches of roadside parking.

In reply to TryfAndy: Superb, thank you very much. I went past there in January, just before pitching for the night, and couldn't work out if it was a car park or some sort of farm stuff. That makes life much easier now for next weekend
