'No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die'

Anything but the last 2 Brosnan.

Would like to have seen Dalton do more.

Definitely the one where Roger Moore prussiks up a rope with his boot laces - For Your Eyes Only. Must try it sometime ...

Top tip, do it with new laces. Old laces that you retired because they were on the verge of snapping aren't a good idea. Also 2mm cord is not fun to prussik with

The boat chase in Live & Let Die takes some beating. In general though I belong to Connery school.

In reply to Reach>Talent: agreed.. 2mm cord can take it, but it's quite nerveracking!

In reply to Philip:

indeed, Dalton began to play bond as a bit of a hard bastard, rather than as a 70 yo man in a light blue plastic suit who takes a deadly eyebrow to the Queens enemies - Craig is better (probably the best), but Brosnan was pretty dire.

Bond was a hard, sometimes viscous killer - he was not a sophisticated lothario or a Karate-trained Inspector Morse - and he should be played as such.
Wonko The Sane 21 Jun 2012
In reply to vertical thrills: no question. Daniel Craig. He plays him as a completely heartless crunt. Love the way he kills a bloke with a knife then just looks disinterestedly until his life ebbs away.
Perfect Bond.

I like the sound of a viscous killer...

That's mistaking Bond for the T1000 in 'Terminator 2'...
