Has anyone climbed the Messner Direct Slab on Neunerspitze?

We're planning on climbing it on Tuesday and I wanted some advice on what gear to take. I know protection is pretty minimal on the route so it'd be nice to head up there light weight.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

In reply to RobbieT: Did it in 2003. We would have had a minimal rack - rack of wires and I think 1,2,3 cams. There isn't much gear on it anyway.

We did it in the day from the valley north of Cortina using mountain bikes for the approach. The climbing itself was probably the simplist part of the day. Descend the ridge to the East.
