My recent accident , or maybe I should call it assault via motor vehicle, has pretty much killed off my smart phone and it looks as if I'll be getting a few hundred pounds to replace it. I'm considering jumping off the over-kill phone wagon and using the money on something all together more useful. Anyone know of any training aids that include -

heart rate monitoring
GPS route recording for running/riding
Pedometer ( simple interface with bike, jump on and go)
Swimming features would be good but not essential

I'd have somewhere about £300. The Garmin 610 looks closest to what I'm thinking.

Any others?

In reply to Voltemands:
Garmin 610 not waterproof, just water resistant IPX7, so no good for swimming. The 910 is the triathlon watch that has specialist swimming features ( and waterproof of course ! )

The 610 with HRM is fantastic I love it, especially when used with Garmin Connect but it's pricey when you add the £60 pedometer.

In reply to Voltemands: I have the Garmin 500, albeit bike specific, got it for less than £200 brand new with cadence/speed sensor and hr monitor. Linked to garmin connect is pretty good. Also links to ant+ power meters (not that I can afford one, with the garmin look pedal one at over a £1000!).
If you go for the 610 and get the gsc10 speed cadence sensor look on eBay for merekbikes and there is a stem mount (carbon) that would put the watch in front of the stem if you don't want to wear it or so you could see it clearly for cadence and speed. The sensor is £40 and stem mount £23.
