I am being suckered in by the thought of the chromebook, probably due to the heavy advertising. Any thoughts, experiences or alternatives please

I cant say the dumb terminal approach appeals that much to me, even with limited offline working.

Mainly internet stuff, watching films in the van, releasing the "big computer" for the boss to do her photo stuff on. Little bits of word proc and ssheets.

I am attracted by size, price and quick start up. Not sure I fancy a tablet
