just bought a pair of these on ebay to replace my old pair they were advertised at 1250grams weight but on my scales they come out at 1700 grams nearly the weight of my old pair. reviews on the web are very confusing including la sportiva site which on one puts them at 1250g and on another site they put them at 1450g. on the box it says 274 trango evo s gtx. can anyone help me on this or am i on a wild goose chase.PS they are size 45

when i worked in the trade boot weights were for a UK size 8 or EU 42 with no insoles or laces.

still seems like a big difference

I suspect its a wild goose chase but the more important thing is whether or not they fit properly.
