Hi,

Has anyone done anything wintery up in Glencoe recently? Thinking about heading up Sunday night for monday and wondering about Stob coire nan lochain or the buchaille for some mixed climbing. The drives a bit shorter for us than heading up to the Northern Corries. Quite keen on North Face route on the Buchaille but not sure how low the snow level is.

any help appreciated

In reply to Jon Wylie:

Just driven back from Fort William, the Buchaille looked wet and it was raining, Lochain could be worth a look though. The Ben was really powdery today.

In reply to Jon Wylie: we were on bidean yesterday the turf wasnt frozen till the last two pitches and the steeper mixed routes were black, we had a fun day out on west chiney though. had friends in SCNL who said the same and they also got avalanched descending broad gully, so i'd give it a miss and head east!
