There is a painting I would like to buy. (the oxbow by thomas cole) ... now obviously I can't get the real thing. So what's my next best bet? Does anybody have experience of buying prints/posters/canvas replicas of paintings? Should I just look on ebay, or does any body recommend a place to buy them.

In reply to Kemics: There are people who will paint reproductions to order. I thought about having a Turner done a few years back, but because of the complexity it was still very expensive. Something less complex would be cheaper and, if done well, better than a print in my opinion.
In reply to Kemics: If you really want a print, allposters.com give you a choice of sizes and whether you want your print on canvas or paper. They also use giclee inks which have a much longer lifespan than standard inks (75years plus).
