You can climb there on Sundays during the Nov - Jan period. I believe the restriction was to do with Pheasant shooting but not sure as I didn't negotiate this. The winter is a good time to climb here however as it gets full sun all afternoon (assuming its shining at all that is!). Parking can also be a bit of an issue in the narrow lane below the crag so try not to block access for farm vehicles.
