Looks a bit under-cammed to me. And I'm not sure I'd be happy clipping in to that loop: it's way off-centre so would tend to tip the gear over in the placement - plus I doubt it would hold bodyweight, let alone a fall.

Is it held in place by a ratchet mechanism of some kind? It does look a little rattly though so I probably wouldn't clip it.

I'm not convinced, it looks like a rats nest of slings. Something looks a bit odd about how it is all held together.
