Shame,

I wonder if it will be reinstated or will there be some new swanky (e.g. expensive) joint instead?

It's an office innit.

with the wonders of google,it seems to be the word for "office".

Looking at the drawings, it seems to be a good layout and use of space.
There seems to be less parking, however if there was parking for 1000 car's there in a couple of years it wouldn't be enough.

I'm please with it, but wonder did it need doing?
the old toilet block and kiosk was functional and fit for purpose.
I wonder if there was a need for a gateway into Cwn Idwal?
the beauty of the area speaks for itself.
a bit of a moot point now.

Proberly not,

and a few weeks ago there were nice gentleman adding some customisation (in yellow and black sticky back doucment pouches) to the cars not parked in proper parking bays, near the Cromlech Boulders.

so I should imagine they will work out how to get over the Glyders by the spring

Why not just put in "office" then? The rest of the plan is in English or bilingual

In reply to Trangia:

Looking at the actual plan, there seems to be very little change to the current facility... Ultimately it is a beautiful area and receives a fraction of the trash that Snowdon receives and this modification will have a negligible effect on the status quo...

In reply to kieran b: Ogwen valley is in Conwy and the pass/pen y gwryd is in Gwynedd... which is why there is free parking in ogwen and not in gwynedd

Well...Ish. Without a map to hand I think the county boundary comes down off Pen yr Ole Wen and cuts across the road right by the end of the llyn and then up on to the Glyders.

Certainly Gwynedd have been pretty hot on parking around the Pass but that is an area that does sometimes see total pillock parking. There IS free parking in Gwynedd believe it or not
